Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
By completing a booking you acknowledge and accept the terms below. Your booking keeps the version you agreed to, even if this page is later revised.
Inherent risks
Ice fishing and the use of an ice shack carry inherent risks, including but not limited to thin or unstable ice, cold-weather exposure, slips and falls, equipment and heater use, and travel on or across a frozen lake. Conditions can change quickly and are outside ShackShare's control.
Assumption of risk
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with accessing and using the booked shack and the surrounding ice and waters, for yourself and any guests in your party. You are responsible for checking local ice and weather conditions before and during your stay.
Your responsibilities
You agree to follow the host's stay rules and all applicable laws and regulations, to use the shack and any equipment safely and as intended, and to supervise everyone in your party, including minors.
Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release ShackShare and the host from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from the inherent risks described above, except to the extent caused by their own gross negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing here limits any right that cannot be waived under applicable law.
