Privacy Policy

What we collect

The information you give us to run your account and bookings: your name, email address, listing details, and booking history. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never store your card number.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use ShackShare — things like which pages are viewed and how people find and book shacks. These measurements are aggregated and are not used to personally identify you.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with third parties except the service providers needed to operate the marketplace (payments, sign-in, email).

Text messages

Hosts can choose to receive booking notification texts from ShackShare LLC. Text alerts are off unless a host turns them on in their own dashboard, and replying STOP to any message stops them. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

The full terms for these messages are in the Terms of Service.
